VOKA Open bedrijvendag 2024:A day to be proud of! The sun was full, there were many smiles and the energy was high! During this successful edition we introduced our visitors to our internal means of transport and they were eagerly used. It was a day full of interaction, educational moments and valuable conversations. Yes, we were tired at the end of the day BUT what a satisfaction! We are very grateful for the generous contributions of Globis Consulting, @Limoco, Altez Group and visitors for the charity Think Pink Belgium. Starting from 15/04/2024, everyone on a temporary and mobile construction site must have a basic safety certificate in order to fully understand the risks involved. During this training, they will learn to recognise the dangers in their own work as well as that of others. Employers are obliged to offer this training to all their construction workers.At Logis Training Centre, we offer such customised training courses both on-site and at our training centre. Last Saturday, we were privileged to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Logis training centre at Park Ven.Many thanks to our clients, Board of Directors, staff, post-actives and sympathisers.Besides the lovely party, we also supported Katrijn Dries and her Smiley for life.

Kurt Vanoppen, forklift driver at Carglass in Bilzen, was named ‘Best Forklift Driver in Belgium’ by a head start last weekend. He became the winner of the Belgian LindeCup, an annual competition organised by Motrac. To decide which of the 24 selected participants would eventually get to drive the final, two practical tests were organised: one where precision was the focus, and another where the focus was mainly on speed. In addition, there was a theoretical test with questions on safety, where each mistake resulted in additional penalty seconds. The five participants with the best overall times then advanced to the final test. In this, Kurt Vanoppen, the 48-year-old forklift driver from Hasselt who works for Carglass, won the trophy. Kurt Vanoppen is a trainee who has already received training at Logis several times for various devices. As a training centre, we are therefore proud of Kurt for winning this great title and prize. Congratulations Kurt and keep up the good work! Of course we would also like to thank Carglass for the fine cooperation from which such results emerge.

What an incredible achievement! 👍 Belgium won the world title in forklift driving! Frank Lenaerts, Maarten Coteur and Jimmy Vleminx won the Linde StaplerCup in Aschaffenburg, Germany as a team.🏆This is not only a triumph for these men, but also for Logis Training & Advice. Proud of Our Winners! 2 out of the 3 team members, Frank and Maarten, obtained their certificate of competence at Logis Training & Advice, which makes us even more proud of their victory. This achievement proves that the training we provide leads to success even on a global scale.
