‘Best forklift driver of Belgium 2023’ was trained by Logis!

Kurt Vanoppen, forklift driver at Carglass in Bilzen, was named ‘Best Forklift Driver in Belgium’ by a head start last weekend. He became the winner of the Belgian LindeCup, an annual competition organised by Motrac.

To decide which of the 24 selected participants would eventually get to drive the final, two practical tests were organised: one where precision was the focus, and another where the focus was mainly on speed. In addition, there was a theoretical test with questions on safety, where each mistake resulted in additional penalty seconds. The five participants with the best overall times then advanced to the final test. In this, Kurt Vanoppen, the 48-year-old forklift driver from Hasselt who works for Carglass, won the trophy.

Kurt Vanoppen is a trainee who has already received training at Logis several times for various devices. As a training centre, we are therefore proud of Kurt for winning this great title and prize. Congratulations Kurt and keep up the good work! Of course we would also like to thank Carglass for the fine cooperation from which such results emerge.
