History
Logis asbl was founded on 13 January 1994 with the aim of retraining and reorienting miners after the closure of the Limburg coal mines. The first training sessions were held in March 1995 in the bathing hall of the old mine buildings in Winterslag.
The first hall of the current training centre in Oudsbergen was commissioned in 1996, but soon proved too small. Therefore, in 2000, the capacity of training and education space was increased to the current 6000 m2.
To continue growing nationally, Logis expanded its radius of action in 2011 with an additional training location in Waarloos. Also there, influenced by its great success, it was soon decided to invest in its own buildings (2014) and to set up a private limited company, now Logis Ltd, in addition to the asbl.
