Purpose of the training
Learning to work safely, efficiently and cost-effectively with the telescopic handler.
Attaining the "Attestation of Competence".
Target group
Employees whose job requires them to work efficiently, safely and cost-effectively with the telescopic handler on a daily basis.
Training content
Theory:
- technical description of the telescopic handler
- telescopic handler types and construction
- capacity and stability of the telescopic handler
- safety rules for using the telescopic handler
- preparations for working safely
- working safely with the telescopic handler
- stability of the subsoil
- pictograms
Practice:
- daily monitoring of the telescopic handler
- technical operation of the telescopic handler
- application of safety and traffic rules
- driving, ascending, extending with the telescopic handler
- working in open space
Certification
- Passed = ‘Attestation of competence’
- Not passed = ‘Certificate of completed safety training’
- The company receives an evaluation form for each participant with the scores obtained on the tests and an individual recommendation
Entry requirements
- Minimum age 18 years
- Being medically fit to practice as a driver of internal transport equipment
Practical arrangements
- To be brought along by participants:
- SAFETY SHOES and IDENTITY CARD
- Participant should bring their own lunch if the training takes place at LOGIS.
Duration and location of the training
Duration of training:
- Depending on your employees' experience, the duration of the training is 2 or 3 days (consecutive)
Training location
- LOGIS at Oudsbergen / Waarloos
- On your premises, if the necessary training requirements are met (sufficient equipment and practice space)
