Radio communication
Purpose of the training
Participants learn to communicate using a walkie talkie.
Target group
This training targets individuals who regularly come into contact with a walkie talkie on a daily basis.
Training content
Theory:
- legislative framework
- the option using radio communication
- the different types of walkie talkies
- bridging greater distances
- the efficient use of walkie talkies
- drafting channel plans
- how broadcasting licences work
- the job of the dispatcher / operator
- changing radio network during crisis
Practice:
- how can I use my walkie talkie to call someone properly?
- how do I know my call has arrived?
- what types of calls are there and how do i make them?
- how can I ensure that my message is prioritised?
- how can we ensure that smooth communication using walkie talkies?
- making different types of calls
- changing batteries
- connecting accessories
- setting the right channel
- explanation of the function(s) of the different keys
Certification
- Passed = you will receive an "Attestation of Radio Communication".
- Not passed = you may try again by repeating the course.
- The company will receive an evaluation form for each participant with the scores obtained on the tests and an individual recommendation.

- Minimum age 18 years
Practical arrangements
- To be brought along by participants:
- SAFETY SHOES and IDENTITY CARD

- On your premises, if the necessary training requirements are met (sufficient equipment and practice space)
