Purpose of the training

Acquiring information on back strain and raise awareness of the impact of incorrect working postures on the back when lifting loads.
Acquiring limited theoretical understanding of the origins of back pain and teaching proper working postures when performing work activities.

Target group

Employees who handle goods manually.

Training content

Theory:

  • development of symptoms
  • construction of the spine (demonstration material: vertebrae, intervertabral discs, nerves)
  • load on the lower back (demonstration dummy)
  • how great are the forces acting on incorrrect posture?
  • what is a bad posture for the back?

Practice:

  • how can the principles of avoiding back injuries at work be applied in everyday work situations on the job?
  • observations of employees
  • reflecting on principles from the theory
  • demonstrating the correct working posture

Certification

  • You will receive a "Certificate of completed safety training".

Practical arrangements

  • To be brought along by participants:
  • SAFETY SHOES and IDENTITY CARD.
  • Participants should bring their own lunch if the training takes place at LOGIS.

Duration and location of the training

Duration of training:

  • The duration of the training will be determined by mutual agreement.

Training location:

  • LOGIS at Oudsbergen / Waarloos
  • On your premises, if the necessary training requirements are met (sufficient equipment and practice space)
