Gas suit (further training)
Purpose of the training
After completing this training, the participant will be able to work safely and responsibly with self-contained breathing protection and gas suits
in high-risk environments.
Target group
This training is designed for employees working in environments that require the use of self-contained breathing air and gas suits.
Training content
Theory:
- laws and regulations relating to gas suit use
- types of gas suits and restrictions
- distribution of roles gas suit team
Practice:
- checking gas suit
- dressing procedure
- carrying out various tasks
- use of equipment and gas suit in house
- decontamination procedure
- undressing procedure
- transport-ready used gas suit
- accidental occurrences and emergencies
Certification
- Passed = you will receive an "attestation, further training for gas suit wearer".
- Not passed = you may try again by repeating the course.
- The company receives an evaluation form for each participant with the scores obtained on the tests and an individual recommendation.
Entry requirements
- Minimum age 18 years
- Has completed basic gas suit training or further gas suit training within 3 years
- Has completed basic or further training in working with self-contained breathing apparatus within 3 years
- Valid medical certificate declaring suitability
Practical arrangements
- To be brought along by participants:
- SAFETY SHOES AND IDENTITY CARD
- GAS SUIT KIT AND BREATHING APPARATUS WITH MASK
- Minimum 4 participants and maximum 8 participants
- To maximise learning efficiency and ensure sufficient personal attention is given to the participants, we work with a limited group size .
